1
Open the battery cover at the bottom of the
dustbin, and mount 4 # D batteries
according to the correct
polarity. Close the battery cover
2 Turn on the power switch at the rear of the dustbin, and the
indicator turns red
(for 3 seconds approx.). Afterwards the
indicator will wink every 3 seconds,
meaning the electric circuit
is in normal status
3 When you want to dispose of some trash, just pass your hand or
an object over
the induction window at a 20cm distance wait half
a second and the cover opens
up. It automatically closes again in
3 seconds. If your hand or an object stays in
the induction area,
the cover will remain open.
4 When the dustbin is full, press the “open” button at the
induction window
(manual open button), and the cover opens but
will not close. This feature is for
use when you wish to empty
the trashbin or frequently put trash in. To close the
cover just
press “the close” button, and thereafter the circuit resumes its
automatic induction function.
5 When it is idle, the indicator winks in red every 3 seconds.
When the cover is
open, the indicator is green; when the cover is
closing, the indicator is red;
and when you set the manual open
function, the indicator winks green every
3 seconds.
6 When the battery is low, the indicator winks yellow every 3
seconds. If the dustbin
opens and closes
approximately 20 rounds per day,
the battery will last 12 months.
